2015 One Billion Rising ~ A Second Life Project


One Billion Rising  in Second Life in association with 2Lei in Second Life presents Safe Night with Phase 2, the Art Park opening on 24th November, 2015. This installations are a part of 2Lei' for the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.


The SafeNight app developed by the Caravan Studios, will be giving a presentation about the app on Friday, 4th December, 2015.

A two stage event on LEA1 have been created in the region of Linden Endowment for the Arts till the end of December, 2015.

Level 1: The Forest Haven is a tranquil spot to explore, relax at a beautiful forest  curated by Aisling Sinclair There are places that reflect the theme, the need to to have freedom from fear of gendered violence,  to be able to have a Safe Night., in the forest installation. It is a reminder of a safe space, free from aggression, which must be kept in mind during the visit.



Level 2: The Art Park will feature a series of powerful and thought provoking installations by Krystali Rabenni, Johannes1977, Taralyn Gravois on the same theme, Safe Night. Events are planned on Saturday, 28th November, 2015.

It's Closer than you think by Krystali Rabeni
Silent Reflections by Krystali Rabeni
