Re-visiting my Passion

"It does not matter how slowly you go, as long as you do not stop"
Confucius

It was almost 2 years back, that I had found my passion. The passion to write. In these few months, I have traveled through the troughs and trenches of writing career in Virtual Worlds. From the nomination of Blogging Awards to the rejection of publishers, the journey seems to leave a scar, a mark in my history. There was a time a time when I was awed by the potentiality of great art and works of so many and a time when I had writer's block. I have been lacking in the past few days and this time decided to re-visit my inspirations.

A Resident is Second Life, once posted that there was a time when everyone wanted to be a model and now is a time when everyone seems to be either a blogger or a magazine editor. So, what makes the difference in this competitive world when everyone wants to get the word out. We all know the importance of social media presence for Brands, but have we ever given a thought, what of the review policy of the bloggers, writers and virtual journalists?

Fashion was never my area of forte. Both in my my real and virtual life, fashion has always been a struggling factor in my life. However, it has never stopped me from experimenting. Thanks to fashion bloggers like Caoimhe Lionheart and Strawberry Singh, I have understood the underlining statements of Fashion.

What makes the great blogers great, is it the social media presence, the fan following or simply the urge to write everyday. Writers like Daniel Voyager, Inara Pey, Strawberry Singh, Caoimhe Lionheart, Bixyl Shuftan, Kennice Morrison, Lanai Jarrico, Saffia Widdershins and many more have survived the sands of time.

The basic idea behind selling any product is to maintain its quality. If the core value is optimum, then all falls into the right place. And this is true for everything, starting with a soap to restaurant to an article. The relatively important aspects like social media presence, fan following and brand building comes next.

"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is to try just one more time."
~ Thomas A. Edison
